Twice now, I have gotten heavy duty CUSTOMER SERVICE in the good old fashioned way from Messicks. The latest example is on my B7610 tractor.
I was not happy with how much my FEL could lift. On Kubota tractors the fix for that is to add a shim, round washer, inside the pressure relief valve. OK, easy it would seem. Pictures posted on several forums and from Bextended, a supplier who markets a kit for this problem, showed the valve in a specific location.
OK, followed their instructions to the letter to get to the valve; but no valve there. Removed the rear tire and supposed to be on the side of the hydro pump...........Scratched and scratched my head, posted over on the other tractor forum......no answer.........Called the "parts line" at Messicks as I had their great parts diagrams for the B7610 and these showed different valves and locations.....A fella at the parts line advised that yes, this was correct, verified the parts numbers and locations and put up with my many questions with calm good answers...........Then, I asked if I could talk with a TECHNICIAN that would be familiar......he said"sure, let me give you Art"....
I got Art and after a long technical discussion with him, he helped me point out the exact location and what to do. He gave me his PERSONAL PHONE number. Double checked the PSI I should have, and as I went down to the barn to actually eye-ball the valve, he walked me through it............wah freaking lah....it worked........
So, personal service from Messicks?????.........Don't know what it means to you; but it is why folks praise them and perhaps why they are so successful as a dealer.....God bless.......Dennis
