SMOG test for RTV!??!?

I'm glad I left in 1972. I grew up in California, and loved it in the '50s and early '60s, before Timothy O'Leary et al. And it used to give me a thrill every time I crossed the Colorado River westbound. Never no more!!!

Are you saying that you have to load up your equipment, tractors, combine, whatever and take them to a place to be tested???????.........God bless.......Dennis

No they'll just hire teams of field inspectors and charge you for it. Probably staffing up and promoting state employees as we speak. You do know for every field person there around 20 to 40 support and management staff all with huge salaries, benefits and retirement plans. Its Jobs, revenue, control. Hey once they are own your property they might find other things they don't like. Dude we're saving the environment!!

Some time time ago I was asked why an economic disaster might be good for CA. Think your seeing the reasons. FWIW I understand the threads on altering/removing spark arrestors have become "of interest" to certain govt agencies.

This forum should be about the fun of owning and driving RTVS Unfortunatley that time may be over. The price of compliance is everything -- REMEMBER CA , REMEMBER NOVEMBER.
