snow plow subframe

i just recently purchased a kubota/curtis snow plow for my 2006 rtv. I was wondering if i should remove the subframe from the rtv for the summer? I have bottomed it out a few times, not hard enough to do any damage though. If anyone has removed it seasonally did you use the original ( shorter ) bolts or just put back the new bolts with the frame removed? Also the mushroom shoes on the plow seem too short even with all the washers on the bottom. Seems as i might have to add to the stem of the shoe. Anyone have this problem, and maybe an answer? THANKS jdh1

Itake my subframe off every spring. IfI leave it on, it limitswhereI can go. I keep the long bolts in. It would have been nice if Curtis had slotted some of the frame holes so the front bolts didn't have to be totally removed. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
