It is very difficult for me to access the s.tarter on my RTVX. I am installing a winch and want to take power from the starter. I would like to make the cable in advance so an assistant can install it. So I need to know the diameter of the hot stud on the starter. The winch did not come with this cable

Why not just take the power directly from the battery for your winch? Much easier to access. What wire gauge does your winch require? What is the FLA of your winch?
