i have a prototype being made and it should be finished in a day and shipped out to bczoom fortesting the price is gonna be 15.00 i hope thats not to high i would have went lower but i have to useup alot of acetyline to cut them out but these will work as arear boot protector too . don't thank me thank bczoom!! i'll see how much gas i use to make a few sets and i might even beable to go lower on the price but for now it's 15.00 thats alot better than 55.00 and these are bigger and they will cover the cv boots from the rear too plus cover my rear for notduplicating a bota product.

Tommy,

Will this steering stopper just fit the 900 or will it also work on the 1100????? Will I have to take 100 pictures for this project?????? LOL..

Rusty Anvil,,,,,,,

well the way i see it is if the a-arm is the same sizeon both the 900 and the 1100 i think they should work on bothi think the only one it won't fit will be the 500. but i guess we'll see you got an 1100??

ok here they are i made two sets as you can see i went up with a cv boot protector to cover the cv boots from the rear to make up for the gap in my boot savers . so now i need someone with a set of my bootsavers to get a set and see if they fit and work. tomorrow i'm going to go and get the bolts that go into the holes and i'll be able to ship bczoom his back to him. do you (brian) wanna try a set out to see how they do or do you wanna pass being you have stoppers already?? well let me know .

Dang Tommy, those look sweet!

How many orders do you have so far? If there's members that "need" them since they have no stoppers at all, by all means send to them first. If you have a spares, I'll definitely buy a set.

Are you keeping a set so you have the template for making more?

i already havea templete and i have a spare made and saved in my folder.i'm gonna make a few more but i wanna see if these work ok first before i pop off to many.

did you check to see if you have some already?? oh and by the way did your stuff arrive yet??should have gotten there by now.

Haven't been in town to check the mail yet this week. Will go in this afternoon and let you know if the bootsavers have arrived.

As for having steering stoppers already, I guess I am not clear on their function. I thought your steering stoppers were to provide some additional boot protection.

yes they will if they fit like i think they will. i'll post a picture of a unfinished set of bootsavers tonight and show you what i think they will do and hopefully they will fit and work like i think they will.

Hell, if they don't fit, for a extra five dollars, he will send you a stick so you can duct-tape it onto and us it as a fly swatter >>>

Some of the flys / and or mosquitos that we have down here in the swamps, and man needs a steel swatter to take them out.... also, for some reason, these buffalo knats has come back around, haven't seen them this bad since 1978 >>>>

Something is happening >>>>

Without the steering stoppers, if your wheel is turned fully to one side and something torques it just a little more, it can break the CV joint or do other damage. Tommy's version also adds a raised plate to protect the CV joint and boot.

In Tommy's picture earlier in this thread, look at the tab that sticks out. That tab hits the wheel hub and acts as a limiter so it can't turn too far. The holes mount it to pre-existing holes in the lower A-arm.

The RTV we have came off the production line with them installed.

The extra fabrication plate to help protect the CVjoint is a real big plus

Tommy does good work andseems to always think ahead of the game ....long as he is not test-firing his new tires in thesugar-cane fields .....

............. two

I am gonna issue one to you for mis-matching threads!! There are no holes in the back of my a-frame,only the front ones where the stick stopper mounts.
