Summer is coming!

Thought this would be the appropriate thread to advise that .........

The warmest spot (of all the automatic reporting stations) in Canada today was ......................TA...DA.....Home of Onfoot...Whitehorse Yukon..

Yeah--we are sweltering with our tongues hanging out as the mercury is pushing 75F! The poor dog is suffering too, but finds some relief by jumping in the river every hour or so. To make matters worse, it simply refuses to get dark at night! llpm and the sun is still shining in our eyes! (Today the sun rose at 4:29am and won't set until 11:31pm!)

Thankfully, we are well stocked with cold beer! :-)

We are melting down here. In the 90's easy ~~~ Humidity is what kills us .... Can't drink enough water. From about 1pm until later onin the evening, maybe 6pm or so, don'tfell nothing but my brain frying.

Mosquitos are bad. We need rain.>>>>The shop feels like you just opened up a oven >>>> yep, it's hot !!!!!

Spent some time up in Anchorage during August a few years back and it was really weird to only have a few hours of not really dark at night. I quickly realized why every one on the army base I was at had blackout shades. I would go out at 4 am and it was already getting very bright in the sky.We are suffering with the humidity but temps are running in the low 70's so it could be worse. Not quite warm enough to get in the pool yet.

It's all relative, eh? Anything above 75F feels really hot to me. So low 70's is definitely pool weather (or rather, lake and river weather) in this part of the world!

I'd melt for sure if I was enduring what Tommy and Two Guns have to endure! Mind you, it seems mosquitoes are happy whatever the temperatures. We do have our share!
