The Purple Martins checked in on the Lafayette County approach control frequency earlier this morning. Arrivals are unloading at our gourd lodging even as I speak. Spring is officially here.

Bluebirds are nesting in the boxes around my garden already. Several folks have seen robins around here. The turkeys are breeding early this year as well. We had some snow last night and temp is at 14 this morning but 60 's for all of next week. Time to get my beefers for this year and lime the pasture and garden.

Nice pictures Muleman! I would like to have some of them around here to watch.
It is suppose to rain here most of the week but also getting warmer. Gardening time! :) bordercollie

Get Mrs. Two Guns to plow up a skillet of cornbread.

I have sat right here and dreamed myself up a
good 'ole meal. Now I am starving to death.

Now Two Guns , you got me craving a mess of spicy boiled crawfish with whole little taters and corn on the cob.. All boiled together and piled high on a plate. wheew weee!! Now that is good eating! And I always consider a plate of that officially Springtime! Two Guns ,do you or Peanut have a good picture to show our friends what the real thing looks like? bordercollie
