Transmission Cooler

TWO GUNS

Senior Member
How many members own a RTV with a transmission cooler ?</p>

I was told they were only on the Worksite models ?</p>

And when did Kubota's engineers boost the reverse speed reduction ratio by 17% to give the RTV900 models increased torque for extra traction in adverse working conditions, and astorage box with gun and tool rack and orange or camouflage thermoformed hard cab<span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #000000; font-size: x-small;">s. </span>This was being stated on the UTV tech site.</p>

.......... two guns </p>

No tranny cooler on mine and it is a worksite model. none of the other stuff either. No tranny cooler mentioned on the Kubota site.</p>

Kubota Canada Ltd. is pleased to announce the newest product offering from Stanley Hydraulic Tools, an industry leader in commercial hydraulics power tools and attachments. The select roup of HTMA Type 1 tools to be offered in this program includes nine attachments: 40-pound class breaker; wood chain saw; pole saw; pruner; post driver; earth auger; sump pump; and two versions of a 13-inch concrete diamond chain saw.

The Kubota TV900 is the only rough terrain utility vehicle with a tool circuit designed to meet the Hydraulic Tool Manufacturers Association requirement for Type 1 Tool circuit operation.

The plug and play packaging allows the customer to start lowering their bottom line right away. Since the tools are hydraulically driven, all moving parts are constantly lubricated, reducing maintenance. The need to carry additional fuels, and recoils become a nuisance of the past. The RTV900T6-TT2 Turf Utility and the RTV900T6-HH Worksite Utility models are the only two models engineered for hydraulic powered attachments. Both of these models have a specially designed oil cooler with an electric fan, flush face couplers for quick easy and safe connections, a high mount air cleaner, and throttle and all the impressive 2006 model enhancement features.

Combine the go anywhere attitude of the RTV900 Utility Turf and Utility Worksite models with Stanley Hydraulic Tools’ work at any temperature, first pull every time work ethic, and there is no worksite you can’t make it to or trail you can’t build.</p>

This is another story I've found about the " cooler systems " >>></p>

As with many magazines or other print, they take some creative liberties when they write some of this stuff up and don't get it properly vetted.</p>

I believe what they're referring to is the RTV models with the aux plug-ins for hydraulic tools. I believe the only model that has it as standard equipment is the "Utility" model (formerly known as the Turf model?). These aux valves are located at the rear of the RTV, right hand side. For those with the worksite model (or any other with the tilt bed), you have 2 hyd ports at the rear. The option they're talking about in these articles has 4 ports. With this configuration, (and if I recall correctly), there's a small cooler that's at the rear of the RTV. It looks like a mini-radiator, similar to what you may see on other equipment that has hydraulic drive components (e.g. a ZTR). There's no fans or such, just an external cooler.</p>

As for the other things, ", and astorage box with gun and tool rack and orange or camouflage thermoformed hard cab<span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #000000; font-size: x-small;">s</span>", it sounds like they took all the changes to the entire RTV line-up (500, 900, 1100, 1140) and made it sound like all this stuff is on a single machine.</p>

All units have an oil cooler on the RH side of the T/M.
Only the Turf Utility model has the hydraulic cooling system i.e. bigger
hydraulic tank and inline radiator (w/ fan) style cooler. It works extremely well...good
thing, because those low pressure hydraulic tools can really heat up the
hydraulic fluid.</p>

Well guys, my RTV900 (2009 Worksite model) has an oil cooler with an electric fan at the rear of the vehicle, as well as two 'plug and play' hydraulic couplers for the tools described. I don't have any of the tools, and would not have paid to have the feature, but the dealer made too good of an offer to take it off of their hands. So it was less to purchase this model than to order in a less well-equipped model at the time.</p>
