Very nice Two Guns! and a lot healthier too without that oil. I'll be putting one of these on my future buy list. Thanks , Bordercollie

That was interesting.

I love to cook outside. I just got through smoking a 120# of pork for a lunch that my wife is giving soon. It's for some board that she serves on with about 120 guests invited.

We have family supper at Christmas at out house with anything from 20 to 50 family members showing up. We usually do 2 turkeys along with other stuff. Now don't get me wrong, I like to eat the bird but with 2 ovens going with a bird in each the smell of those turkeys roasting can be overpowering after a while. I may just have to invest in one of those things, firstly to stop me from gagging but secondly, a fried turkey might be a pleasant change.

Thanks for the heads up.

Talked to several men who also ordered one yesterday after the seeing what they were all about. We all agreed that, if one needs more than one to be cooked, just get some of the others and share them for bigger gatherings. We do that during peanut cookings, fish cookings, etc ...... that way, don't have to invest to much money for just a one time bigger gathering. And will still have 1 in hand just for the " family " thing ....

............ two guns

I have had one of these for almost 3 years now and they work really well. It is definitely the best way to cook wild turkey. I like to breast out the bird and inject it w/ a salt water and garlic solution. then rub it w/ EVOO, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, insert some garlic cloves, and then wrap it w/ some bacon. hang it in the cooker for about 45 minutes to and 1-1/2hrs. It is the juices slice of turkey you will ever eat. if there are any leftovers they make great sandwiches.
