Thanks Guys and Gals for the thoughts.........I really send out the honors to those who carry the scars in their minds and on their bodies. Often, it is hard for a fella to stand up and say thanks for the honor.
We got used to NOTHING for so many years that perhaps some began to think that what they did was not worth anything either.
For the first time ever I went to a program today at my grandaughter's school. She invited me so I had to go. There we were, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Cold War, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan, and the list of world wide service goes on and on.
The 4th and 5th grade sang a song about there would be no freedoms, country, liberty, or honor without the service of thecitizens in the military......A tear to these old eyes with that, the Pledge, and Anthem..........God bless these United States..........Dennis
