Vibration! Any ideas?

I noticed a couple of days ago what seems to be a vibration or a shudder in the drive train. It happens at 10mph. I am in 4wd, no dif lock, and medium speed. I don't notice it at 8 or 9 mph or after about 12 mph. I thought maybe it was my imagination so I shrugged it off but when I was out this afternoon I noticed it again, so I tried narrowing down the symptoms. I did not try L or H, maybe I should have. Any ideas what might cause this?
 
Yes. There is nothing like that going on. I crawled over and under and can't see anything. There is surface mud but nothing even 1/4 inch thick anywhere. I can feel it in the pedals and my seat. It is like a shudder. </P>


It is like an auto trans. that shudders just before shifting. I know this does not shift but that is the feel. </P>
 
Get under it and shake the front shaft going to the front, and see if there is any slack. Make sure all joints are tight and no slack, check the yolks... It's going to be something really simple. </P>


Did it just all of the sudden start ? </P>
 
Does this vibration come with a noise?

Keep trying different scenarios.

As 2-guns noted, get in there and start tugging on things. Also check the shafts and joints going from the front transaxle to the tires.
 
<FONT color=#0000ff>Two Guns....As far as I know it did just start. I hadn't noticed it before. Could have been the excitment of a new machine and maybe it had done it since delivery. It has about 18 hrs on it.</FONT></P>

Best thing to do, to keep your worries down, along with the blood pressure,</P>


CALL THE DEALER, <FONT color=#ff0000>It is under warranty,</FONT> and now your going to find out how good he is.</P>


He should just jump over there, or get the machanic to give you a call and help you. They can find it faster than anybody. And when they do, fix it right there >>>>>>></P>
