What is the hardest you have worked your RTV 900?

John: I left Chicago in 1966 at 19 and went into the Navy. I did six years as an enlisted man (made it to ET1) and then six years as an officer (Nesep Program). I got out in 1978 and moved to Texas.

I was raised in Roseland and then moved out toward Midway Airport in 1961. Went to Leo High at 79th and Sangamon. I still go up there regularly to hit the culinary trifecta.....Home Run Inn pizza, White Castle hamburgers and Portillo's Italian beef sandwiches. We have decent barbecue and Tex-Mex down here in Texas, but you can't get a decent pizza to save your life.

Have a great time in Chicago.

Morning Men,

The only thing I can say about how hard my Kubota works me is:

SAND IS HEAVIER THE ANY OTHER GROUND COVER!!!! PERIOD.

We play Tonka Toys.

My neighbor has a B17 with a loader. My Turf Model with power dump.

I have loaded mulch to thebottom of the roof. Dumped where needed.

I have loaded top soil about 2/3rds up the back screen. Dumped where needed.

I have loaded gravel about half way up the back screen. Dumped where needed.

I have loaded sand about 1/4 way up the back screen. SHOVELED HALF OF IT OUT OF THE BED BEFOE THE HYDRO'S WOULD DUMP IT. I hate work.

Granted in all the situations above the poor little Kubota was taxing the rear suspension but it handled it just fine.

There is no more sand in my future, except at the beach, with a plastic shovel and pail.

Yes, sand is heavy, And yes, sand is very bad on everything you put in it, or around it !!!

There has been many pieces of equipment screwed up because of sand. Will just tear up brakes, myGod, BEARINGS ,rollers, gears, just name it, it will destroy it !!!!!!

Personally, don't want anything I own, EXPECIALLY THE RTV's, around sand !!!! It's just minature grind stones waiting just to jump in ~~~~~~~~

TWO GUNS: Glad you posted something-I got tired of readingthe same thing so many times since yesterday.

But it sure is fun riding the river banks and bars-sand included. I am afraid I'll just have to repair and replace.

So far the most work by my 1100 is hauling three six packs ofBudlite/cooler in the bed and a six pack in the front seat-handy-on the river bank.
