wheel spacers

Welcome to the forum!

As I recall, spacers on the RTV aren't a favorite item. Because of the RTV's weight and hauling capacity, there's concerns about axle, bearing, lug... load issues by taking that much weight and spreading it out farther.

The center-of-gravity is pretty low on the RTV. Do you have tipping concerns?

Also, when pushed out on the front, you may encounter rubbing on the fenders.

I have 1.5 inch spacers on my rtv1100 for last two years. Definitely more stable, no rubbing and I have studs and lug nuts instead of lug bolts now. I have two pieces of JD equipment that have OEM spacers and two jeeps that have 2 inch spacers on with no axle or lug load issues on anything. To each their own but my two cents is they make the RTV even better.

Thanks for the info PA Jeep. 1.5" isn't bad. Is all the tread still under the fenders or do you get mud down the side of the RTV? Do you recall where you got them and a price?

Thanks guys for all the responses and help about spacers I dont plan on carrying much heavy if need got daddy rabbit kubota tractor for that. I dont guess theres much you can do to the diesel models as far as gettin at least 30 horses out of the 900 rtv. Thanks again guys.

Everything is still inside the fenders. I bought them from a jeep supply place that makes aluminum spacers of all types. I think they were $115 per pair.
