Rub it in BC. 23 here with a frozen fog on everything. Sun is finally peeking out and we should hit 38-40 today. Wish it would go one way or the other as the mud sucks. Hurt my shoulder so i am hoping the neighbor boy will come help stack wood. We should get some snow Monday.
I'm back. All went well.
Weather was fantastic for mid December. I didn't have to turn on my windshield wipers until I was 20 minutes from home, and that was a very light drizzle that did not last.
Within the last hour I got it unchained, and unstrapped and off the trailer. JT (member ssr) helped me with securing the RTV to the trailer and did a fantastic job. Once I left his place all I had to do was check for tightness and it was always a-okay.
Sure glad I did not take the gate with me. Good suggestion BC and JT. I got 16.5 mpg on the way down. The way back was a different story. I was expecting 12, but in reality got 10.4 Gas down south is much cheaper than up here. That helped. It was 3.09 in bamma and I found it for 2.99 in Tennessee. That helped some but 10mpg it tough for an 880 mile trip.
Anyway, I'm back and catching up and chilling after a lot of drive time. Pics and more tomorrow.
