Gone But Not Forgotten
We are blaming Two Guns and Tommy! Crazy that folks in Texas and elsewhere down south are cooler than we are. Hit 94 when I went by the airport at Elmira today. Humidity is so bad I have to be out at the crack of dawn to do stuff around the farm and still sweat like mad. Going to get worse till some storms come on Saturday and finally cool us down. Trying to dig post holes and put hay up in the barn is kicking my butt bad.
 
Haha Muleman. It is 102 heat index at 3:50 Sunday. Not really too bad as there is a breeze from an impending dark cloud. I hope this doesn't mean we are getting your snow this winter! Don't overdo it- I just came in and got myself a nice glass of sweet tea....back out in a bit... cows don't respect Sunday.... collie
 
It was cooler today but still very muggy. weather guy swears tomorrow will be better but they said that about today as well. I only needed 2 sweat towels today. By this afternoon I came in the a/c and watched the race. This past week has been unhealthy for me with my medical issues. No choice but to work short spells and take breaks in the a/c. Got some things done but not near what I wanted to. Such is life as we age.:wink:
 
We got a much needed break in the temps starting on Wednesday. So of course i jumped right in there with the weedeater and cleared the fencelines that were getting out of hand. After a little over 4 hrs. I had done busted so much ragweed and other nasty pollen that I was sick as a dog for the day or so. Sure is nice to have the a/c shut down and hear the frogs at night. Woke up yesterday and had to shut the windows as it was down to 48 and wife was hollering at me. Told her to wear some pj's if she was cold. :whistling:

We live in this humidity & heat !!!!
