Why Not ?

Looks interesting and I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work behind a RTV.

I wouldn't use this or any other trailer with that much weight in it behind an ATV or RTV on steep hills. Too easy for that load to push the vehicle.

I tried looking around the internet for more info. It appears many of these come from China and I wasn't going to their sites. The one I did find made in this country is here.

The bad part is their smallest unit is about $12,000.

Personally, I use a logging winch behind the tractor. Get the logs to a working area, buck them and then haul in the back of the RTV (down the hill).

Here's a YouTube video I found with a winch like mine.

Cold you imagine those logs being oak, hickory, or any other dense wood? Sweet little deal that is DEATH waiting to happen. Zoom is right in that it's too much weight for a 4-wheeler or UTV, even an RTV. What about that narrow under carriage? One side dumping off in a hole would roll the whole train.

Best leave this type work to the much bigger boys. Those are dangerous and much more substantial.

Just my $0.02.

jeeze 12 grand that setup could be made for around 4k if not cheaper. them manufactures try to get rich off of a single unit rather than sell more at a cheaper price .
