TwoGuns, I'm not a snow fan since the results are cold cattle and pastures; however, it would be hard to not image having snow from time to time.

Snow sure makes the woods so pieceful that I'd just stay in the white woods if I could stay warm.

Come up for a visit if you want some snow. The lake effect stuff is rolling like mad right now. From little dustings to blinding blowing sideways whiteout conditions. Up closer to the lakes they are expecting 2-3 ft. of snow over the next few days. Lakes are warmer than normal so almost no ice has formed on them yet.

Mine has not seen snow, this is it's first winter. We had a little about a month ago but not enough, melted too fast.

We have not seen a total of 2 feet of snow in 40 years >>>> or it seems that way.

Now we had some bad freezes with ice and all, but no to often.
We get sleet maybe a time or two a year, seen some about a month ago, which was strange.

I could be a little wrong on the measurements, but we don't really get snow.

Oh yes Two Guns I remember. These pictures of mine were taken last Feb and it also snowed the previous year that same month. I don't remember if you got that wave of weather or not. I do remember it was pretty but shoveling out the feed troughs for the cows got old quick. That's my '05 in the snow . Now, I get to park the 2011 under the garage but only because the nieces are off in college. bordercollie

You guys can have my share of snow. So far I've only needed to plow once and I'm kinda hoping to keep it that way. We've still got bare ground in Maine which is pretty awesome for January, I'm hoping it stays that way right through the winter.

Two Guns,
What rims and tires are you running? Are they good in the snow?

ITP Type 4 wheels

ITP 589 MUD AND SNOW, ( be sure to get the 26"& not the 27" )

589's is great in mud and the snow. I do believe in these tires !!!!
They have NEVER, NEVER, NEVER let us down. And I'm speaking for
many of us swamper down here in Louisiana !!!!!

LOL MIne just seen 12 inches of the fluffy stuff.
While plowing I caught a damn stump with the plow and snaped the daml bracket on the plow
Its in the garage being re fabricated.Ill post some pics of the machine in the snow
BTW the GRIM REAPERS rock in the snow first season for them

Thanks for the info, I am having trouble finding them on line, only see wheels for quads and 4 bolt pattern, I have not found 5 bolt wheels.

I found some via a google search for: ITP type 4 kubota rtv.

$65 each for the rims. Tires can be bought at the same site, but watch their bundling price as it doesn't seem to reflect the sale price of the rims.

Also, think about size carefully. 2Guns mentioned the 26" but I believe many have gone with 26x9x12 (or similar) in the front to avoid rubbing when you turn the wheel. In the rear you can go wider (26x10x12 or similar).
