Work Light cable routing RTV 1100

Hi Everyone. I have a factory cab 1100 and I am putting a LED light bar on it and i want to power it off the factory wiring. I already have the relay and switch but i am unsure how the Kubota kit routes the wires from the work light into the cab. I am sure they don't drill the roof so any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Kubota does drill the roof for the 2 front roof lights and the 1 rear roof light. You didn't mention where you were going to locate your work light. Or, are you going to replace your work light with your LED work light?

Wondering if you are going to replace the Kubota lights, why not just unplug the OEM lights and wire your LED lights into the wiring harness/switches already there?

No, I do not have the factory work lights BUT i am going to use the existing wiring so I bought the relay and switch. That will power up the factory wiring up in the ceiling on the front. I am going to mount them to the metal pads along the front of the roof. Do you have a picture of how Kubota brings the wires through the roof? I just want to make sure that i do not do anything that is going to allow water intrusion so I would like to follow the way the factory does it

In the photo, the metal tab with two two holes in it (below the radio speaker) is part of the system that holds the cab liner in place.
 
You would think in todays tech world they would make wireless capabilities for lights lol.
Not them damn d size battery doo doo.

just drop the headliner as shown in keifer's photo and wiring should be there. while you have it out put a good set of speakers in. I put some small automotive speakers in and it made a big difference.

Keifer.. I know the wires are up there where your pictures show. And these mounts where your lights are is exactly where i plan on installing my mounts for the 30 LED 200 watt light bar… thanks for those pictures. What i am uncertain of is how did they seal off the wire penetrations where the light wires enter the cab. :bonk: Did they use standard tight fitting grommets and then seal around then with silicone or something? does the wire come through the roof beyond the cab out in the overhang? Preventing water intrusion is my main concern. Like I said, I have already purchased the pigtail, switch and relay to get power u to the overhead… I really do appreciate all your help… :a1:
 
The wire seals off between the rubber pads that are under the metal plate on the outside. You can pull the wires out from the outside without taking the headliner out if wanted. I have work lights front and back and buggie sits outside all time with no water leak problems. :tiphat:
 
Thanks Thunder… I don't mind dropping the headliner… I want to change the speakers anyway. I am surprised that they just squeeze it under the rubber but if that is the way Kubota does it I will do it the same way…
