Been too busy working to post pics till now. Primary use is firewood production here. It's a 350 foot drop down to wood cutting area by my creek so bringing up wood is a workout.

Nice lookin', like that set-up on the bed. Now that's a working unit . Plan on any "gripper" tires for wet weather ?

Welcome to the forum.

Looks/sounds like we have similar conditions. Firewood and lots of hills. Ground looks red. Are you in the south east?

Got any details and close-up pictures of the toolbox and front bumper?

Northern Kalifornia, will try to add pics. I fooled around with lightweight winches and settled on the 6K warn. It'll pull the unit straight up a tree (or off a cliff) whichever comes first. Both Bumpers are made from recycled boat trailer sides with redesigned 2" mounts. Bed is topped with synthetic decking.

Now that's what I like to see >>>> A RTV ownerthat isnot spooked to add money to his unit !!!!!

THAT IS A NICE WINCH *** IT WILL WORK WITH ANY APPLICATION THE RTV MEETS, or ANYTHING ANYBODY THROWS AT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!

GO AHEAD >>>>>>> DON'T STOP NOW !!!!!!

Purchase some cable , snatch blocks, and hooks and you'll be in business !

Thanks for the kind words but I try to spend very, very little $ on mods. With the exception of the $100 well spent on a used winch I fabricated most everything from recycled scrap and used stuff bought cheap. The detachable winch mount, front and rear bumpers, bedliner ect were made from items like old boat trailer sides and other scrap materials. I got the idea for the bumpers from this forum by the way. My motto is "HFS" engineering (hell for stout) and build everything that way.

Whatever the amount, it doesn't matter. You've done a great job in the " HFS" engineering !!!!

I like the way you've fabricated the back hitch system.

The tires are OEM and won't wear out so I can justify getting more agressive ones. They do mud up and slip sometimes. If anyone wants pics of the way I made the detachable winch or bumpers let me know. It's not very hard to do and will save damage if and when you bump into stuff. Inspired to add mine when Isaw an unprotected RTV bed literally destroyed when they backed into rock damaged the engine too. Not sure why they don't put em on as stock.
