X1100C front mower with K Connect

I also waited for Kubota to come up with some type of front mounted mower. Since they ignored my wishes and I wanted a mower I could use before I take a dirt nap, I said "screw e'm" and bought a real front mounted mower........šŸ˜€

I m going to have to buy a riding mower if Kubota does not make a mower to connect...This is a must have item..

In campaigning for a K-Connect mower, it seems worth also highlighting to Kubota how unwieldy the attachment capabilities of their front-mount mowers are—including the F2510 that was just released this past October 2025—and how their front-mount mower line would benefit from an update to K-Connect.

I am having trouble linking to it due to form "spam" filtering, but there is a video review showing the challenges of trying to change PTO attachments on a front-mount mower.

Despite this unwieldiness, Kubota offers more PTO attachments for front-mount mowers than the K-Connect:
  • Mower
  • Debris Blower
  • Rotary Sweeper
  • Snow Blower
  • (plus a non-PTO blade / snow plow)

If Kubota were to standardize its front-mount mowers on K-Connect, that should (in theory, at least) automatically bring a mower (and a debris blower) to the K-Connect catalog. It would also allow Kubota to simplify its front-mount attachment line for both PTO and non-PTO attachments.

Both the F2510 front-mount mower and the RTV-X UTV are spec’d at 23.3 horsepower, so it’s not like the UTV is lacking horsepower. While the front-mount mower offers a ā€œcabā€ option, it is not on the same level as the RTV cabs. So, why not standardize on K-Connect and give users more options with a front-mount RTV-based setup?

I’m somewhat curious as to why front-mount mowers don’t already have a K-Connect setup to better manage attachment switching.

Have you talked to anyone from corporate again Sandpatcher?
I have a love/hate relationship with my K-Connect. In the winter as a snow blower, it is the absolute nicest snow removal machine I have ever used! And I'll say that compared to my old plow trucks, tractors and backhoe.

But the hate....need more for it to do in the summer now. I can't use it for trail riding any more because I lost all the ground clearance.
And I don't know about anyone else, but after winter when it sits unused for long periods, boy does mine get lazy. No power on the hills at all until I work it a few hours. And my foot throttle is binding up because you use the hand throttle all winter and push the pedal very little because you are going slow blowing snow.

Lets all keep hounding Kubota for a mower!!

I spoke with a field rep a few years ago, and he was immediately like, ā€œOh, yes, that’s a great idea,ā€ but obviously nothing has come to fruition yet. I have wondered if Kubota’s internal structure is such that there are organizational silos that are each in their own little bubble and don’t really engage with other internal orgs.

This forum doesn’t seem to allow me to submit a post if I create links (even to Kubota USA itself [?!]), so it is not straightforward to provide references…

Regarding ground clearance, has anyone here tried the Orange Aftermarket ā€œlift kitā€ (item number ā€œPD-PABL31001ā€)? I use that phrase in quotes because it is a simpler approach that doesn't involve changing the suspension but instead appears to basically address some clearance issues that would allow for use of larger tires.

Below are a couple photos from Kubota’s product page of the front-mount mower ā€œquick attachā€ option:

Regarding sluggishness, I have also seen some short videos on improving performance. I don't know if the steps here might help address that? The first video covers the main steps, and the second is someone basically saying the first video works:
