X1100C Front Receiver Upgrade/Update

After a bit of thinking I decided to add a second receiver to the front of the 1100C. I attach a plow system to the machine via the OEM front hitch but found it light to handle the weight of the plow. The new receiver tube is much heavier and is welded to the OEM mount system in multiple places which makes it very strong. Also the pin placement on the OEM setup is a real pain to get installed as you have to basically get under the bumper to install. The new setup is much more easy.

Nice work Mork ! :applause:
The factory hitch is a little on the wimpy side for sure ! And getting to the pin.. Yeah.
Looking at the tounge weight specs for the front hitch on the X1100 ( And rear to for that matter) is VERY minimal .
I wondered how some of you are sporting such large plows and stuff . Now I see. Got to upgrade that mount!

I based the new receiver on one I found offered by Curtis for their RTV plow system as shown below. At $300, this was way more than I was prepared to spend on it so I went to our local tractor supply store and bought a 2" x 12" receiver tube ($12) and made it fit the same location.
