X900 steering controller

You can see the shaft seal if you take the steering wheel off, FYI.

I have disassembled my rtv x1100 to the point of having access to the power steering unit, but at the time I didn't know it was leaking. The x1100 PS unit sits very close to the steering cylinder. the only part that sticks into the cabin compartment is the splined shaft. There is a shaft with u joints that extend up to the steering wheel. So I will politely disagree that you can not see the seal by removing the steering wheel.

I assumed it was like the x900 and the unit was right there and the top was visible with steering wheel off. I'm OK with being wrong once in a while.
