    Hydraulic dump bed options

FWIW: The electric ones work great and can be operated w/o the motor running.

    Another fuel gauge gone bad

mine sticks from time to time but a careful whack frees it for several months. I put a piece of wood over the gauge so the force is transmitted to the internals and thw glass is protected. Hope it works for you. The problem on mine seems to be moisture getting in the works and rusting/clogging it up

    My Bota

Looks good. These things will haul more wood in one load than i am able to handle by myself. What did you make your intake out of and how did you screen the end in the cab?

    RTV 900 seats recovered

I think many of the seats were ruined BEFORE you got your machine. Mine rotted out within 6 months and were replaced by the dealer after much bitching on my part. I noticed that many dealers here in CA store the crated RTVs outside in the sun for long periods of time. The ones on the top...

    IT has SPRUNG

Supposed to snow here in N. Calif and maybe even SF (that would be fun to watch!) 6" of snow in SF would probably be a "killer storm". As diesel and propane climbs beyond $4.19 gallon should make things interesting.

    Something different...

I think I saw this one and a 6 passenger one at the SHOT show in Las Vegas last week or so. Was very impressed by the components and construction. I really like the idea of a direct drive motor for each axle. If my 900 ever croaks i would consider one of these. FWIW Since adding a 4.0 KW...

Big lug tires OR chains- which first?

Big lug tires were my first choice for replacement and they are great. My rtv had the same as yours and literally wouldn't go offroad without slipping or getting stuck. I ordered a set of innovas for less than $300 shipped and had walmart change them out for $5 apiece. Now I can go just about...

    Wench for Christmas??????

bz is correct! My M6000 warn would hang my RTV from a tree (like in "Gods must be crazy" movie. Its tried to pull me over several cliffs so I am careful to tie off the rear tow hitch to a tree beforehand.

Kubota Cheaping Out on on RTV 900 parts?

Looked at a new headlight lens being installed at the dealership. The New lens was giving installer fits as it was made to install with 4 sheetmetal screws instead of 4 threaded bolts. The new part has just plastic bolsters :bsflag2::bsflag2::badidea:to screw into and not the brass threaded...

    RTV Body parts needed

Too much work for these old hands. Chronologic Deterioration has taking its toll on me. The reason for my RTV purchase in the first place was the power steering and power dump. Thanks again for help.

    RTV Body parts needed

Project may be dead. Parts are astonomical!! Shipping on one item (front bonnet" is 50% of $400 part cost!. Kubota controls prices and even access to diagrams. Even parts #s keep changing so tough to deal with. Frame twist/bend would require body shop hydraulic bender to straigten out...

    3000 pound winch really enough?

Thanks for the tip but I already found out the hard way. Pinched lines are frustrating and mine is loaded with over 80' of line which is nice but way too much for my needs. Now I rewind carefully under minimal tension and guide the line in. I'm sold on warn and their lifrtime guarantee. Its...
