Another Coolant Leak Part Two

Ha Ha Ha, those darn X models, everything is different.

Anyway, in the owners manual it probablys says Low is the cold engine mark and High the high temp mark.

Cornerstone, did you drive both the old version? Notice a huge difference in ride over rough ground?

spudhauler, no, that's what is odd! The manual says nothing about cold and hot only to fill it to the FULL mark.

major ride difference, I had a 900 before the same gullies and ditches I'd slow down for before for fear it would throw the dog out of her seat I now hit full speed and barely bounce.

Just an update. After changing the cap and clamp I haven't had any coolant leaks. Knock on wood.
I took the machine in some pretty ruff spots to get it hot and did this a few different times and no leaks observed so for.

The rubber cap and clamp on the water pump. Look at the pics at the start of the thread. I think this is for heat on the 1100 but not used on the 1120.
