    Fuel Gage

I had to replace my guage at less than 200 hours. The dealer gave me printed diagnostic instuctions to determine if the problem was the gauge or the sending unit. See if he can give you that before hauling it back to the dealer.

    Any Ethanol in Biodiesel

I forgot to say that regular 87 octane at the card lock today is $4.25 a gallon. It looks like we are paying an additional $1.42 a gallon for the Ethanol free. However, I only buy a 5 or 10 gallons at a time.

    Any Ethanol in Biodiesel

I just checked with the distributor in Eureka Ca, and the price today for a gallon of 91 octane Ethanol free gasoline is $5.67 a gallon. However, up here on the NorthCoast we often pay the highest prices in the country for fuel, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

    Any Ethanol in Biodiesel

I am also in Calif. and have to deal with Ethanol in the gasoline and the damage it causes. I have switched to the Ethanol free gasoline that I get at the Petroleum distributor that is 92 octane. By the time I add sta-bil and 2 cycle oil it gets a bit spendy. However, compared to chaisaw and...

    front window rattle

I have a 900 with a Kubota front windshield. I also have a back plexyglas wind screen that I made myself. In dusty conditions I have to open the front window to help keep the dust from being sucked in. My problem is that the two latches on the front window rattle and it drives me nuts. I tried...

    Fuel cap wrench

BC It must be more than low-sulfer driving up the price of diesel. We here in California have had low sulfer for over ten years, yet our prices have recently spiked to almost $4.50 a gallon. Don't know f it's true or not, but I was told that taking the sulfer out of the fuel can cause older...

GoLight and a couple other accessories

"... and that thing was ready to shine even farther." BC, I bet the good folks down in Stephensville Texas could see that light! Where did you get the liner for the plastic roof, did you make it yourself? What is the material? Thanks.

    RTV 900 Jump Video

A video of an RTV jumping can be found on that site if you search for Kubota RTV. The fourth video on that site has an one jumping, if you can call it that, along with other Kubota videos.

    Parking Brake Switch

Hi guys. My problem with the parking brake light was a little different, it wouldn't go off unless I held the handle down. I thought the brake cable needed to be adjusted, but it turned out to be a bent switch mount.

    driveshaft rattle

Thanks bordercollie for the information. I checked for the snap ring and I can see the one in front of the bearing. Without taking off the guard it's hard to tell if the back one is there, but I think it is. When I move either driveline front to back or back to front the whole thing moves as a...

    driveshaft rattle

Thanks bordercollie, I just crawled out from under the RTV. I should have done that in the first place. Now I can see what's going on. I didn't realize that there were two shafts. The front one, like you said, has the pin hole. If you lift the bed and grab the back drive line it can be moved...

    driveshaft rattle

The dealer is waiting for a call from Kubota on Monday. They had talked to someone there and they were unable to help them. I was just hoping that someone here who had experience with this problem could give me some insight. After all, you guys are the experts and I respect your knowledge of the...

    driveshaft rattle

I just had my 900 at the dealers today to get a new fuel tank and a front u-joint installed. They had number K7561-91700 u-joint kit, but couldn't get it to work. They said it had a pin that is suppose to go through the drive line and mine didn't have a hole for it. Also I didn't see any set...

    RTV 900 Back Glass ?

Re: RTV 900 Back Glass ? I also got tired of the cold wind, and especially the dust, so I bought a piece of plexiglas and made my own rear windscreen. I used rubber grommets and the existing screen bolts to attach it to the ROPS. I learned that you should have a real sharp bit and drill slowly...
