1140 Cab

My 1100 was from last year before the updates. The NEW models will have all the upgrades and will most likely run on par with the 1140.

The problems I was having with the 1100 centered around lack of power(even with hand throttle) and the need to downshift whenever going up any...

    1140 Cab

I'm in upper Pa and the heater and cab made plowing real easy in the 1100. Heck, I even had the doors off from summer and it was still warm enough. For me, I just didn't get along with the cab model and I was pretty happy selling my 1100 and getting the 1140 a couple months ago. I suspect for...

    1140 Cab

I have had all 3 models of Kubota. 1st was the 900, then the 1100 and now the 1140.

For me, I thought I would really enjoy the cab with AC and heat on the 1100. What I found out was it took away most of the fun of driving around an UTV. I like being able to hop in and out and I...

Hey guys, need some help on this,

Mine ran fine in nuetral and ran fine on level ground. When I would go up an incline, I'd lose a ton of power. I'd suggest emptying the fuel tank and changing the fuel filter again.

Hey guys, need some help on this,

I had a similar problem with my first RTV. Changed the fuel filter twice and removed all the fuel. Somehow I had gotten water in the fuel. Ran at full power after servicing.

how much would my notes be for an 1100??

Bought an 1140(camo) with snowplow and bedliner back in July. No money down and payments for 48 months are $350 thru Kubota credit. Insurance cost $89 per year thru our homeowner's insurance.

Kubota was running some seriously good deals on financing a couple months ago so it might...

what are the realy major problems with the rtv's

I'll agree with MessickFarms that most issues have been resolved. Shifting is at least 50% better(even the dreaded Reverse), quick stops don't jerk you out of your seat when you let off the gas, seats are better(no more plywood and seats are deeper) and I've noticed more power especially when...

50 hour maintenance by the book

Just cut off the spark arrestor for my 1140 after reading the thread. Appreciate the advice.

Will be changing all my fluids to synthetic in the next week and am going to inquire about that high rise air intake although I'm not sure how it will work with an 1140.

...

    RTV WISH LIST

Some additional features I'd like to see on the RTV would be a standard locking glove box. Really could use it. Also would like to see an additional 3-4 HP on the 1100 or 1140. The new models have more get-go but could use just a bit more for hill climbing. Kubato really needs to do something...

    RTV WISH LIST

I've had my 1140 for a little bit now and have been extremely pleased with all the new upgrades. The one suggestion that would make me trade in my tank on a new version would be a separate rear pedal. The new transmissions are definately better but in reality, there's still a lot...

    Hello everyone

I must say how Impressed I've been. I've now owned every Kubota RTV model except for the 500 and can honestly say the 1140 is the best of the bunch(for me). I'm almost certain they've done something to reduce the noise of the engine(and they were loud) and it definately has more useful power...

    Hello everyone

Yes, I was talking about decompression for the HST motor.

Now if the previous models that had the hand release also had the break pedal release, I sure couldn't tell it on my 1100. Shifting was extremely poor no matter what I tried. Yes, I could get out of gear...

    Hello everyone

Yes, very slick. Love the slider for the rear cage as opposed to the Trans mule that you need to lift and get into the slots. Also really like how heavy the backseat is, Can really tell they beefed this one up.
