I have 2007 RTV900 with only 130 original hours on it. I obviously don't use it a lot, and it is in excellent condition. Lately it feels like the parking brake is on when driving... just sort of drags, and seems to need higher revs to get up to speed... also doesn't seem to have good pulling...

Glad to hear Two Guns and Bordercollie ar O.K. Thoughts and prayers will continue for those that weren't as fortunate....

Kerry, I did put the duct tape on before I heat shrank the film, but at the top the film was stretched across the u-bolts that hold the top on, so it didn't have a full contact flat surface at those points... that is where I had the one small tear.

I think that is what I will try to do Bordercollie... and then follow up with a good spray lube. Just as a point of interest, I have always been a big fan of WD40, but then about 3 years ago I found out that it is not labeled as a lubricant, but more of a cleaner/water remover. Now I use WD40...

Kerry - After reading your original post I made the same windshield for my 900... it works great! I have a plastic hard top on mine, and the u-bolts that hold it on created a bit of a problem at the top... I ended up with a small tear near one of the u-bolts when I heat shrank the window film...

It's a squeak, squeak, squeak... I feel sure it is the carrier bearing, but I haven't had time to take a look at it yet. I am going to try to clean and lube it first... it shouldn't be worn out with under 100 hours on it.

Bordercollie - That sounds exactly like the area the noise is coming from. I only have about 85 hours on this machine so it shouldn't be worn out, but maybe I jammed some mud or debris in that area and it needs cleaning and greasing. I will have to get it on some jackstands and check it out...

Thanks for all the comments.... I will check the belt, but I would think that a belt squeal would continue when I put it in four wheel drive, and also when I rev the motor up in nuetral. The rear axle shafts are of interest... this only started after I had driven through some foot deep water...

My RTV 900 has developed a rather loud squealing/squeaking noise which seems to be coming from underneath... middle of machine area. It only makes the noise when moving forward in two wheel drive. I have put the transmission in nuetral while moving and the noise continues. If I drive it in...

You might want to go to tractorbynet.com and search for a poster named mstordahl. He is apparently a Kubota dealer/mechanic, and he seems particulary knowledgeable about Kubota RTV issues. Maybe you can get him to come over here to help folks! I bet he may have some intelligent advice about how...

It has front brush guard, power dump, orange in color, rear quick disconnect remotes appear to be hooked up to dump cylinder, no speedometer, tires are not ATV type... appear to be more of a heavy duty all purpose with square shoulders.</p>

Does anyone know what the rtv side mount costs for the blizzard 680?... I aleady have the plow mounted on a jeep, and am thinking of selling the jeep and putting the plow on my rtv900.</p>
