Looking for y'all to check in after those tornadoes.

What a mess. Hope it didn't even come close to you!

Yes, Bordercollie is from central Miss where a lot of stuff went through.....Blew across the other side of the ridge from us. Tore up barns, trailers, and lots of trees as it came out of Alabama........The Grace of God nobody hurt. Worst part was that it washed out a bunch of corn that was freshly planted.....But then again it can easily be replanted. So......it just keeps going on.......God Bless US ALL.......Dennis

I kept an eye on the weather all day Saturday, but fortunately none of the tornados hit Limestone County. We did have at least two that started out about 50 miles south of us in Cullman County, crossed over near Arab and Guntersville, plus one that hit Albertville, Geraldine, Fort Payne, and Mentone before crossing over into NW Georgia. That one killed two people, and has been rated as an EF-3, Not as bad as the long track tornado that crossed Mississippi which hit Weir and Yazoo City, now rated as an EF-4. Mississippi had 15 killed, three of them were children. The killer tornados created a path of destruction up to 3/4 of a mile wide, and around 90 miles long. My heart goes out to all those who were killed, injured, or had their homes and businesses destroyed.

We are fine. Speaking also for Bordercollie.
I didn't get anything to talk about . Now I talked to bordercollie, they are ok also, but they were really close to bad stuff. Talked to them after the storms, they were good, but understand they had bunches of trees down in that area. They have been really busy also ...

Thanks for checking in on us >>>

Please keep the ones that losted love ones and property in this bad time in your prayers.
They need all the help they can get !!!

Thank You

We are indeed fine. Saturday, I was following the weather conditions on the weather radio trying to decide if I should leave for Ark or not when the computer voice was replaced by a human calling it a "tornado emergency".. Now I knew it was serious and nothing like anything I had every heard in a weatherman's excited voice before... This tornado destroyed the point where I usually turn on my way to Ark. It is about 15 miles as a crow flies from me.I snapped this picture freehand from my truck Sunday morning as I went to Ar. I am sure glad I waited or I would have been in my truck near this. The most damage regarding (to the town) was in the south most part called Four Points.. I would encourage everyone to get one of the programmable per county/parish auto on weather alert radios. Many, many more people would have died if not for the CD sirens or these weather radios that come on automatically. Many Thanks for the thoughts and I join you in wishing the best and prayers to the folks affected by this huge path tornado of such awful destruction. Bordercollie

Glad you guys are okay. What a storm. Over a mile wide tornado. Unheard of. Thoughts and prayers for those who were not so lucky, and were hit dead on by this storm.

While not as deadly it also tore up a portion of eastern Tenn. and on up into Virginia. We ended up with hard rain followed by snow today. Crazy spring weather for sure. Prayers for those who lost so much so quick.

Bordercollie, TwoGuns and Y'all. My thoughts were with you when I heard about the tornadoes..Glad to hear you're all ok...

Many Thanks friends. I am thankful it missed us. Hearing those many rescue/survey helicopters coming over our place that afternoon on the way to the damage was something else. I met scads of power trucks on the way to lend assistance Sunday as I drove to Ar.. I have been involved directly in 2 tornadoes and 2 others after the fact as well. I think I have met my quota ,ya'll can have the rest. .One thing I have learned about us Americans- we may fuss over politics but when it comes down to the wire- we are all neighbors and friends. Thank You, Bordercollie
