I have waxed it with paste wax and it works better, but it seems the 2 inch pipe I have installed on the cutting edge, sticks out enough to prevent the snow from sliding down.

I removed the pin today from my shifter. (Cut it off) Simple job with an oscillating saw. I will find out how well it works next time it snows. It already seems better just sitting in the garage.

I have a X1100c with the Boss V plow. I installed a 2" pipe on the bottom of the plow cutting edge for the gravel driveways. Pipe works fine but even after trying numerous spray lubes on the blade I have a big problem with huge amounts of snow sticking to the blade. I think the pipe sticking out...

I ordered the same style lights but with red leds. I think the white would be too bright.

I would like to upgrade the front work lights to LEDS on my X1100C. I haven't plowed with it at night yet, and I'm wondering about glare with those lights being mounted so high. I keep thinking how you have to dim the high beams on a car or truck in heavy snow conditions. Maybe the halogen...

Dave, looking at your picture again it looks like there is some silicone at the bottom of the windshield. Someone must have tried to fix a leak before.

Dave, I have mine run between the frame post and the rubber gasket, the rubber just overlaps the frame a little. I just looked at mine and I see no way that can allow water to enter. As mentioned above that cab is airtight. I think there is another problem.

I bought a set at my local Ace Hardware for roughly the same price.

I ran my wire the same way that Dave did his.
