blizzard 680lt plow for kubota rtv900

I did a search on the forum, and I found your original post on this subject, which shows that mmolnar might have more answers for you than I do. Here's the link:</p> http://compacttractorreview.com/cs/forums/p/3115/14614.aspx#14614</p>

blizzard 680lt plow for kubota rtv900

My dealer is Snell's Equipment in Potsdam NY. No I don't use any weight in the back. I have worksite tires and so far haven't slipped in two days of plowing (uphill and down, with full lock on the steering and full angle on the blade.) Four wheel drive, of course, but haven't had to use the diff...

blizzard 680lt plow for kubota rtv900

I purchased my Blizzard 720LT with my RTV, so the dealer installed it. I do know that the 1100 and 900 require different undercarriage mounting kits. The one for the 900 is #B35062. Mine fits perfectly and I couldn't be more satisfied with the ease of mounting and dismounting with Blizzards...

First plow with RTV 1100/Blizzard 720LT

Through this board I'd heard that our local Alcoa plant had ordered 2-3 RTV 900's with Blizzard 680LT plows (6'8" fully hydraulic). When I ordered my RTV 1100 this year I also ordered the Blizzard plow, but because of a shipping shortfall somewhere I ended up (with my consent, same price) with a...

    blonde headed woman try's suicide!!!

I'm glad to see the forum back in action. I don't think everyone has disappeared. I see that Tommy's blond joke (had me laughing) is now dated 11/18/08. I remember seeing that post about a week ago, at least (how about it Tommy - when did you post it). And it is one of the last posts I remember...

    SAE or metric?

Re: SAE or metric? Thanks guys. I just ordered matching SAE and metric sets from Harbor Freight. I also put metric allen wrenches on my list of stuff to get (Christmas wish list). Are there any allen sockets on the RTV that require more than the simple L-shaped wrenches, or should I get allen...

    SAE or metric?

SAE or metric? This might sound like a stupid question but are the RTV 1100's fasteners SAE (inches) or metric? I'm getting an impact wrench, and want to know if I need a metric set of sockets.</p> Thanks, Doug</p>

    snow plow shoes/pucks

I decided to start a new thread so as not to distract from rgm's original thought lines.</p> rgm wrote (in thread New Owner)</p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;">"I also need to re-fab the shoes on the curtis plow to keep the scraper bar out of gravel. It looks like the scraper bar istaller than...

    Door Height on RTV 1100

I agree with bczoom. I just measured again, and with the door just opened 6" (at the back) you have 16.0" clearance at the front of the door bottom, and 16.5 at the back. As you open the door further, this increases, a little at the front, and alot at the back. Again, this is with W/S tires...

    Door Height on RTV 1100

My RTV 1100 is parked in a level garage right now with worksite tires at 20 psi. I went down and measured. When first opened, the bottom of the driver's door is around 16.5" off the floor. But when fully opened (around 38" from of the outside of the body) it is around 19.5" off the floor. This...

    RTV 900 verses RTV 1100

I first saw the 900 in 2004, along with the other usual suspects: Ranger, Rhino, Mule, & Gator. It seemed to me that the 900 way outclassed them all, for just a few more bucks. I joined this forum then, watching, and finally joining. In 2007 I was leaning toward the 900 and almost ready to pull...

Now what's up with the website?

No issues yet. When I've finished reading a thread, the back button takes me back to the list of threads just as always, automatically reloading the page. I am using Firefox v 2.0.0.16. Great browser.</p> Doug</p>

Deerlope, I will be interested in what you find out. Does Tom Towne have a 900 or an 1100? And what kind of trouble did he have with it?</p> Doug</p>

    Grote mirrors

The strobe light arrived earlier than expected, just before we left town for a week, which explains why I didn't let y'all know sooner. </p> I unpacked it and it does include a velcro-mounted steel plate and straight cord, good for going through the 1100's door gasket, and plenty long enough...

    Grote mirrors

I had my eye on a strobe on eBay yesterday, and was all set to put in a bid with 1 minute left, when I did a search for that exact model (Star 201ZM) in Google and found a price of $53.50 ON SALE, INCLUDING SHIPPING, at this site:</p> http://www.emergencyresponderproducts.com/siflmamo.html</p>...

    Grote mirrors

Strobe light project is on the back burner for now. Anyway, I won't be needing it untill the snow flies. Thanks to all for some good suggestions. I have the 1100, so I don't know if a coiled cord would be a good choice for going into the cab. I think it should have a straight cord.</p> We have...
