always check your winch to see if it still works!!!

Sorry Tommy.....Can't speak COONASS and can't find a Coonass/english dictionary any where. Was a pooter installer/fixer for 40 years before retiring last July. Worked on everything from them big ole IBM mechanical beasts to modern day high speed multi-blade servers and just about everything in...

always check your winch to see if it still works!!!

Tommy..The trick is to run the main wire for the winch from the battery through the relay (solonoid) contactor. That way the ignition system only picks the solonoid (very low current draw). the voltage is supplied to the winch only when the solonoid is picked. You could also put a switch in...

always check your winch to see if it still works!!!

1.........Guess this explains Tommys' battery problem a while back. I always like to hear the explanation for a problem that was reported.

2..... Winches and other add ons that draw lots of amps, in my opinion, should be wired through a relay (solenoid) that picks when the key is in...

    Rain ?

    .................
Having been raised on a dairy farm close to the Quebec/Vermont border, I can certainly appreciate the aggravation the excess rain in these parts is having on the annual haying season. Also the lack of sunshine and heat is having an adverse affect on the local corn...

    Lousiana guys in the Yukon?

One of my neighbours has a 900 VStar. Georgeous machine. If I was in the market for a sicle, that would be on my short list for sure. Another one has a Harley road king. Nice machine but other than the exclusiveness of it being a HOG, I think I'd prefer to be riding a nipper if I was a couple...

How far on pavement for 4 wheel drive?

Driving in a straight line over pavement for a short distance will have minimal effect on wear and tear. The problem with 4X4 on pavement comes when making turns. Drivetrain lock up (binding) can occur due to the front wheels and back wheels turning at the same rpm through a different radius...

    6.5 fisher plow on rtv

    ZEN26..
The mount is attached with the 4 bolts at the front into the "bumper" and 2 bolts at the rear that are at the front of the skid plate. I'm not familiar with the fisher mount but hope this helps in your fabricating.

    6.5 fisher plow on rtv

Aquired the unit late this past winter so didn't get the opportunity to try it out in heavy conditions. March was a light snowfall month this year which is highly unusual. We usually get some pretty heavy dumps that time of year but not this year. I did get to push some heavy wet stuffbut it was...

    6.5 fisher plow on rtv

If you don't already have the Kubota heavy duty front coil springs on your unit, you should get some. The 80inch Blizzard which is similiar to what you have is what I have on mine and along with the cab weight, without the hd springs the front does a squat when the blde is lifted. The springs...
