It can also be caused by an over load condition. I have seen it happen on the older vw bugs with splined rear axles.

I ran mine with 1 3/4" pvc to under the roof. I left the original air cleaner where it was and just made a new inlet pipe.I works great. I may reroute the pipe to exit outside the roof and turn down thereby lowering some of the noise.</P> </P> Bill</P>

It is located in the parking brake handle. Just remove the plastic cover and you will see it. They tend to get dirty and will stick. Clean with brake clean and it should fix it.</P> </P> Bill</P>

Pvc works just fine. I did mine a couple of years ago with no problems. I used 11/2 tubing with radiator clamps. I them painted the pvc kubota gray.</P>
