    Joined the Green Team

Well after being on Team Blue for 17 years I sold my little New Holland in 2020 and bought a Kubota L3301. After a little less than 3 years of ownership I traded the Kubota for a new John Deere 3039r. It goes along with the little LT150 that I picked up for a steal last year from a co-worker...

    Where I've been

Here is the start of the new garage. We are going to reuse the existing concrete, so that meant we had to go out away from the existing concrete and posts. The old garage was 30x48. So with the cost of material efficiency and such, we were able to end up at a 40x60 for not much more money than a...

    Where I've been

I've been offline for a few weeks guys. We have had a crazy few weeks. First with the holidays and everything it was getting kind of busy and then Monica sprung it on me that she wanted a new truck, never being one to turn down the opportunity to get a new truck, I started looking, that turned...

    IS® 2100Z Zero Turn Mower

Congrats, I've heard good things about Ferris. Some folks say they are the only ones that will work on hills.

    Aggravated at my dealer

Funny thing is, when I bought the New Holland, this dealer pi$$ed me off and I wouldn't even consider them. I figured it was just the sales person, she is actually at their other location now. And I had talked with several folks that really liked them. I really liked my salesman up until the...

    Aggravated at my dealer

If the leak wasn't from a dealer installed item, I really would be looking on. I feel like I can no longer trust this dealer nor do I want to. Once I get this resolved, I will probably start buying my filters/parts from a dealer that is actually closer. I was hesitant to buy from them as back...

    Aggravated at my dealer

And the aggravation continues. I noticed a puddle of fluid under the tractor. I tracked it down to the the rear remote block the dealer added. I call the dealer to set up an appointment. Oh, we don't do appointments, bring it in and drop it off. We'll put it in the queue. They get worked on a...

    Spartan Zero Turn Issue

I have had two minor problems with my Spartan Zero turn so far. One has been corrected, one soon will be. One happened a couple of weeks back. I started it up drove it out of the garage. Engaged the PTO, it immediately died. I texted the dealer - mind you this was 7:00 at night. He told me a...

    Aggravated at my dealer

When I ordered my new L3301 a few weeks back, one of the things I specified was I wanted Extendable Link Arms. They quoted my $200. I thought that seemed reasonable. The salesman then later mentioned that he thought it would be money better spent if he sold me a quick hitch. I then pointed out...

    New Kubota Owner - L3301

Biggest reason I wanted the handle was so I had something to do with my right hand while just "driving" if you will.

    Zero Turn Mower roll call

I think so, I always mowed with the New Holland and it had the R4s and it never did anything too bad and it still had a few hundred pounds on the Spartan. It had to be really wet before it did anything.

    New Kubota Owner - L3301

Been meaning to post this for awhile. I picked my new Kubota L3301 up on July 29th. I was torn between that and the LX3310. Even though the spec'd pretty close, the L is a substantially larger tractor with a much beefier loader and outweighed the LX by about 900 pounds, I was a bit worried about...

    Zero Turn Mower roll call

Yep, have already seen that. Not that I'm overly concerned with it, but I'm still trying to perfect my technique.

Said goodbye to my Blue Buddy

Dealer adds Rimguard by default. I had windshield washer fluid in the New Holland.

    Zero Turn Mower roll call

It is big. I love the 4 wheel suspension. Still getting used to the super fast response of the controls. I was really surprised by the weight of it. It weighs almost 1800 pounds. That is more than the old New Holland, LOL. As my kids would say, it is Dummy Thick.

    Zero Turn Mower roll call

Bought the black one new in '99. It has been a great truck. Was going to sell it when I bought the white one, but my son kind of took it over. He is now in the process of "Youthing" it. Both in terms of items in it (subs) and appearance. He found one of the Plastic Pro-Tec beds he his having...

Said goodbye to my Blue Buddy

It was a 54" bucket. It would actually lift it full. Once in a great while I could load it with wet manure that it couldn't lift it all of the way and I would have to dump a bit to get to max height, but that wasn't very often. Very strong loader for that size tractor. Oh, pics of the new mower...

    Zero Turn Mower roll call

For the last 17 years I've been mowing with the New Holland TC24D with the 60" MMM. Worked great, but now we found ourselves needing to switch between the tractor duties and mowing duties and sometimes needing both at the same time. Combined with the advancing age of the New Holland we decided...

Said goodbye to my Blue Buddy

Oh, one last tidbit. I wasn't going to let the Pat's Easy Change go with the tractor. I tried to take it off. It has become one with the 3 PH. The PEC hasn't been off since probably 2007 and was now part of the tractor, so the buyer got a free quick hitch. I ended up adding extendable link arms...
