    Sharing a good parts find

Over the last few years every time I order parts from C or M I look up the rubber top caps for my brush guard then delete them from my cart because I am too cheap to spend $60 for 2 rubber caps. (Mine dried up and fell out somewhere in the woods) Last week applied tape measure to tubing to...

    Tiller 72 or 84?

Went with the UM-72, this is the only time it will ever be clean! Had to cut the driveline then tried it on about 1/4 acre, incredible performance and I can sit in the cab with my coffee versus getting beat up behind my old walk-behind unit. Not to mention it'll take maybe an hour instead of...

    e-RTV

Not a Kubota but the Club Car Carryall series is similar to what you describe. No PTO but an electric dump bed, quantity 8 x 6 volt batteries, on-board charger. All aluminum & plastic - no rust! I have the Carryall 500 but would like to trade it in for a 550 which has a bit more ground...

Kubota RTV x1100c LED Light Bar

Was there ever any update on this question? It's been a year so maybe someone has found a good 894 LED replacement? I searched but no definitive answer. The selection of LEDs online is huge but so are the negative reviews! I have found lumen ratings that vary from 160 to 900 so I suspect the...

    useless bits of information

Electric as the campground does not allow gas/diesel. MPH changed from 15 to 19 on a flat hard packed sand surface.

    useless bits of information

I'll add some equally useless remotely related info, changing golf car tires from stock 18" to 23" (O.D.) resulted in a 4 mph gain measured with GPS. I did not really notice any torque loss as the buggy was used in a flat campground on Cape Cod.

    2 wd / 4 wd lever frozen

You all saved me a lot of time! I was away since the first post - upon arriving home last night I already had the 1100 parked on a grade so I warmed it up, backed downhill slowly while turning the wheels and it slid right into 2 wd. Guess I need to read that manual! Thank you for the responses.

    diesel

I have read;(untreated) gas 1 year, diesel 2 years, propane forever. However I've used both gas & diesel twice that old but usually diluted with fresh fuel. This past summer I used 20 gallons of 5-6 year old gas in my pick up 5 gallons at a time with each fill up. Ran smooth as fresh fuel.

    need help please

Does your model use an over-ride switch under the seat? I always end up with rags and junk under my seat preventing the switch's operation.

We had 30 for Thanksgiving, nothing broke on the 1100 or the golf car 'cause they were both locked in the garage and the keys hidden in my toolbox!
