    Tool box location

I like the idea of being able to take the tray or box out/off. And may need more than one box to carry chains and such as well.

    Tool box location

My L3000 does not have the bracket behind the seat, and i'm not sure the 3ph linkages would clear. Will have to check. If i did go that route it would need to be easily removed so that i can get to the hydraulic/tranny fill plug.

Good Luck those in the "Path" of the storm

Those of you that home-school are true heroes. I know that word gets overused these days, but here it fits.

    Tool box location

Two years ago thanks to Almighty God i became the proud owner of a 2001 Kubota L3000DT. The original owner had mounted a plastic tool box on the right fender. Well a few weeks ago the top of the box broke. I've bought a new box but really don't want to mount it on the fender. I've been thinking...

    front axle fluid change

Today i changed the UTD fluid on the front axle of my 2001 Kubota L3000DT. The owners manual says it holds 6.3 qts. After replacing with 5 qts it showed full on the fill plug dipstick. I drove it around for about 15 minutes and then let it sit for about an hour, rechecked and added just over...

    Rear diff lock

Thank you for your replies. This afternoon i called our local New Holland/Kubota dealership and i talked to one of their mechanics. He was concerned that the diff was not unlocking. He stopped by and checked it out, and all is good. He said what urednecku said. He also said if the diff had been...

    Rear diff lock

I have a 2001 Kubota L3000DT. This morning i was in a couple of situations where i needed 4WD to get through. One was going forward, and the other was backing out of a slick hole. But before engaging 4WD both rear wheels were spinning without the rear diff lock pedal being used. Is this normal?

    Advice please help

I agree whole heartedly about checking out different dealerships. That way you can get a feel for who will treat you right even if you buy used from someone else, like family. Come September it will be 2 years since i bought a 2001 Kubota L3000DT from a fella who is married to one of my first...

    I need Ya'lls Prayers

Very sorry for your loss. I will be praying for you, and yours. When one loses a parent its tough enough, but when one loses a parent that was also their buddy that's as tough as it gets. For those that know God "absent from the body, present with the Lord." He watched His only begotten Son...

    Winch size

I think Peanut is right the 4500 is the perfect size. Before i sold my polaris ranger it was equiped with the Viper Max 4500 with a snatchblock. Didn't need it much, but when it was called on it never failed. Never needed the snatchblock. I know the rtv's are considerably heavier, but not to...

    Uncle Wayne

On Wednesday Uncle Wayne had the surgery on his throat. The doctor was very pleased with how the procedure went. He didn't have to take out as much tissue as he thought going in. He did go ahead and remove the lymph nodes though. Wayne was doing very well that evening, well enough in fact the...

    Uncle Wayne

He did get a second biopsy. The ear, nose, and throat specialist advised getting the second biopsy. A good idea for anyone facing this sort of thing. Sorry it took me so long to get back and give an update, and answer your question. May the Good Lord bless you, and yours.

    Uncle Wayne

Thank you so much for your prayers. I can't adequately put into words how much this means. Tuesday afternoon Uncle Wayne had surgery to install the feeding tube. Wednesday he was allowed to go home. This morning he had an appointment with the ear, nose, and throat specialist. He will be...

A few months ago my Uncle Wayne had a couple of polyps removed from his throat. Tests showed them to be benign. Since then the ear, nose, and throat specialist has taken biopsies which all came back normal till last week. My Uncle now has been diagnosed with throat cancer. According to the...
