what would be a good price for a 06 rtv with about 600 hr.it is in good shape not show room cond but in pretty good shape everything works and has good tires just been serviced all fluids and filters.were do you go to get a blue book value.
When I'm selling I'll do a survey via the internet to see what others are selling for. If you have the RTV900 (diesel) with manual dump I think ballpark would be 7k. I've seen them from $1500 for a well used one owned by a construction company, up to $7900 for a cream puff with 450 hours on it.
I guess you could start high and always come down or take offers if it does not sell. Much easier than raising the price if you start out to low. What part of the country you are in will also have an impact on the price. North East prices are usually higher than what we see here in the mid west.
I do not know where you would get the blue book value for RTV's.
What Doc said. Also, the hydraulics add about a grand to the price of a new one. I sold my '05 WS with hydraulics last August with 4000 + hrs for around 5200. It was well maintained by me and never abuse but used. I had about 50-60 calls on it and a waiting list to buy all from the farm market bulletin. It looked nice and the records of the oil changes under the hood is what made the waiting list long
i am in south alabama. i do not have records but it is in pretty good shape, not a cream puf but very mechanicaly sound.i have had it all summer and used every weekend and had no problems just want something a little more sporty. probly a john deere gator or a honda big red anyone got any input on either.it does have hyd. dump on it.
Hi Fordman. Those are 27" 589's on the '05 pictured before I changed them out. I put the original, like new WS tires with the steel rims back on the '05 to sell it . Then kept those chrome rims pictured for my new machine to use in the rough mud of a cattle farmer's winter. I will need to replace those 589's because they were worn out on front and the back ones are showing evidence of breaking down- bulges. I will go with 26" or maybe 25"'s- If you mean the brand of the wheel rims, I will need to look at them in the store room . I think they are a brand like SD or similar .The 25 inch Kubota atv tires/rims on the '11 (S model) don't have the grip I need in the sloppy mud/manure- not frozen down here. They are my moderate weather tires/rims.
ssr, I paid 12,700 last August for my 2011 S model 900 with the spray on bedliner and chrome wheels with a plastic top. Good Luck- I bet you will get a lot of interest in a market bulletin type situation.
Thanks,Bordercollie
Thanks , yea I was wondering what wheels are compatible that will fit on the bolt pattern of the rtv , thanks for all your help , I hate to worrie all the fine members on here Lol
Used RTVS with less than 1000hrs are very scarce out here in PRK (CA) and can bring way higher than normal prices. (like everything else here). Saw only one for sale in last 6 months and it sold fast at nearly the "new " price due to add-ons. Surprised someone doesn't target them for resale here. FWIW I'm leery of new RTVs due to some downgrades in quality i've seen on replacement parts. The heating issues on the gas powered one worry me as well. Guess i'll drive my 04 900 till the wheels fall off - then weld new ones on!!
Fordman, I bought my 06 rtv 900 (worksight) last October for 9k. Had 14 hours on it and was basically in brand new condition but no accessories beyond the hydraulic dump bed. The original owner paid 10.5k for it. This was in western Maryland.
any of you guys know anyone looking for a good rig.it does show some sighn of use but is mechanically in great shape i have had it for about 6 months and have not done anything but service it.i am in lower alabama and after reading what some of you put on here i put it on craigslist for 8800 it does have hydr. and good tires.
