Does anyone have pictures of how to remove the spark arrestor on an 1100?

Also, is there an after-market muffler that would help gain some power?

No pictures, but it is simple to do. Remove 3 allen head bolts (5mm) on the right side of the muffler that holds the tail-pipe on. Once off, get hacksaw and cut the screen off leaving about 1-2 " of pipe on the inside. Re-mount.
Drive. Enjoy!

You should be aware that once you cut off the spare arrestor, the exhaust tone will change and be slightly louder at idle. Any power increase will be in your mind, not at the wheels, unless your exhaust was clogged prior to removing the arrestor. At least that is my experience.

Don't forget to use a dab of anti-seize on the bolts, just in case you ever want to remove the tail pipe again.
