I just bought an rtv900 and need more ground clearance. I have a set of itp589 on my wheeler and love them. I would like to put a set on the rtv and would like your input on size. Do the 27's rub at all with the bed loaded to max? Should I go with the 26's? What about the lift kits, are they worth it? Not planning on doing any serious off roading but our trails have some pretty good size rocks poking out and need the clearance.

Welcome to the forum... Glad you came on in !!!

I also have a RTV 900, running 27"itp 589's, they are great, but if I really had to do it again, I'd go with the 26 inchers , I'm not having any rubbing, but can see where one who runs in rougher country can..... 26's will go everywhere 27's will go.....

The lift kits, don't have one >>>>> I personally don't see where they lift enough for the price and much trouble of installation.

Would like to make a suggestion >>>> Need to get in touch with member Tommy,..... he make our Boot-Savers, and trust me, you will need them in places that you are discussing about riding your machine.

What other accessories are in plans for your new monster ? Take a look at this link:

You can get some ideas on what you really need, and the best places to get them at a fair price.... Also, get your self a V-4271 High Rise ROPS air cleaning system. YOUR GOING TO NEED IT !!! IT WILL SAVE YOUR MACHINE AND YOUR TROUBLE IN THE FUTURE !!!!!
