does anyone know what is the output of the alternator on the rtv1100? i'm wondering if it will be enough to charge two batteries. i tried lookin at the specs sheet but they don't have it listed.

Tommy when you go on the website

Click on competitive comparisons tab at the top of the page. It states it there.

The 900 puts out 60 amps and the 1100 puts out 75 amps. I think this will charge two batteries.

I am going to add an optima to my 1100 somewhere along the line.

It shows diesel mule and gator only putting out 40 amps.

This forum will not allow attachment of a pdf file extention but go there and you will seethe data you are looking for.

I like painless performance wiring products. I installed 2 optima's in my F-250 and used this waterproof control unit to charge and allow switching of batteries for various requirements.

thanks i'm gonna check it out but if it's putting out 75 amps thats plenty enough to run two batteries. when i get the 1100 i plan on running two batteries and useing one for an inverter i like to have a/c power out in the woods if needed too.
