bumper finished!!!

i share my intiment exsperience with you and you say it's a story .lol i'm so flactuated . you move me.

Bump!

I bought this bumper from Tommy but because I have a custom box on my RTV, it's not going to work for me.

Who's interested in it?

Brian: how much? where are you located above pittsburgh? I am 20 miles off rt15 on the n.y. border.might be a fun ride to see sw pa. have not been out there since the 70's.

Bill,

How does $90 (+shipping, if needed) sound?

To my house, it's a bit of a haul. Google has directions from Mansfield to my house being 270 miles. Do you ever head north into NY? My sister lives about 100 miles N of Mansfield in Victor (just north of Canandaigua Lake). I swing up that way (but take I-79 to I-90) and could possibly leave it at her house. If I can talk Mrs. Zoom into doing a little shopping in Corning, that would give me an excuse to come down 15 and cut across 80 to get home and I can drop it off.

done deal! I will email you my address and phone #. Now I have to tell the wife she can't go to pittsburgh. Tell your wife we have 3 malls 5 miles east of corning and then there is the miracle mile a little farther east. Lots of shopping if that is what you like. Myself, I know where lowes, home depot and various supply houses are and that is all I need. Tried to take my wife to rochester shopping a couple weeks before christmas last year. Traffic was backed up so bad that you could not even get off the interstate. No more of that for me! If you never saw the corning museum of glass it is a fun time for the kids and adults. Live glass blowing and every womans dream of glassware. Lots of history on glass through the ages. There is also the Rockwell museum of western art 2 blocks from the glass works.

Tommy:

Sure looks like you made a nice - heavy duty bumper for the RTV's. Reasonably priced too. And your pictures are worth a thousand words. Thanks for all your efforts to help out the folks here in the RTV Forum.

Keifer, a RTV wannabe

does it fit??? it's a demo me a rusty was workinon in the sidelines and thats what i came up with. i hope it fits now one good thing is i had to go to houma today and there was some ole boyscrawfishin on the side the road in front thier house . the best part was they had all their stuff in the bed of their rtv 900 so i might try to swing over there when i see them ouside again and cut them a deal if they let me use it for a pattern.

Tommy & Bill - I don't know as I never got it mounted. It does appear that it will, but the construction of my cargo box precluded me from actually getting it into place. Bill - you've been forewarned. This is Tommy's first crack at it and we don't know things exactly. Somewhere, I have the measurements and such that were developed to build it. I believe Tommy has them as well (since he sent them to me). One of us should be sure to get these to you.

Are you saying I might need to go down to da bayou and straighten him out? I am not allowed to weld anymore so I gave mine to my brother inlaw, but I am good friends with a great welder up here. If it is close we will make it fit. I need a set of stick stoppers also,Tommy. Now they had better fit cause you are past the prototype stage with them. HaHa I already violate enough of the doc's rules and when they warned me about welding, ignition coil or anything electro-magnetic setting off my ICD I have flashbacks of the 8 times I remember getting shocked in 2007. you never forget the faces that came at you with them paddles in their hands!!

ole rusty sent me picture after picture for weeks until i had enoughmeasurements. i am almost certain it will fit a regular rtv bed when i shipped it to bczoom i thought he had a rtv bed but it turns out he had a aftermarket bed. the only problemnow is if it does fit nice and snug and people want them i will have to go hunt down the pictures and measurements in my computer again it's been so long.

has anyone heard from rusty anvil latley??? he hasn't posted in a whilei know he has parkinsons and i'm getting kinda worried.

I just sent both of you the mounting info, pictures, instructions... that Tommy sent me awhile back. Not sure if I have the original measurements used to build it. Tommy - did you look through this thread to see if you posted them here (or is that a trade secret)?

i don't think i posted them in here cause i took the measurements from so many pictures but if you need i can go back through my fabrication files and dig them up and post what i got and where i think it should go. or where i built it to go.

No ,I haven't heard from Rusty but would sure like to. I miss his jokes and good humor. They make me smile on even a bad day. Come on back Rusty we miss you. Now you hang in there.... my Dad is doing o.k so just hang in there and you can too. . Bordercollie
