Having this built - lightweight and two people can remove and set up. No hydrolics - goes up to 14 feet off ground and very stable. Gets me above the brush in south texas to hunt - I have a video of it in action but could not get it to post
I am not doing it - buddy is - I will provide close up pics once it is done. Basically uses long tube with small tube inside bolted to bed/back of cab. Then uses a winch system.
Yes dont leave us hangling. We need pics ,blueprints and detailed instructions. This is way to cool. You know how many liberals i could pick off if i had one of them on my machine???
Great job and seriously would love more info when you have time.Especially total cost.KInd of reminds me of years back when i was working and laying gas pipe cross country.I would get to work early just to grab a backhoe and climb in the front bucket over looking a forn field and have someone raise me up untill it was time to officially go to work, then i had to give up my perch lol.
That really looks like a nice setup. They do a lot of turkey hunting down on the river. There are blinds every where. You are aloud to use atv/rtv/utv's and such along the river bed and that sure looks like some thing that would work well.
