I feel like the good lord said "I am going to give y'all one last chance to get it right." If we can just get enough of the citidiots in DC to work together???? Or get rid of them....

I couldn't be happier with the results.

Every (D) from our state representative to the white house has been replaced with a (R).

I had a long preparedness plan had it gone the other way and am very happy I could just throw that plan away. Was on the phone with our financial guy at 7AM dumping money into the market. I thought we would be doing the opposite.

Proud of my family and my State. The entire family voted (R) and with my fellow Pennsylvanians, we turned this State from blue to red for the first time in 3 decades.

Agreed Shinnery and Zoom! 2 Chronicles 7:14 . Trump is our Cyrus in the Bible - our chance- That's my opinion. Interesting - I was also reading in the Good Book about Queen Jezebel and her husband the other day and what happened to poor old Nabob......Lots of good reading and parallels to current history in there. It's facinating ! judy

Here on my hill, I can now dismantle the plans to drop trees across my road, and like Zoom, change my plans to get my food stocks prepared, and fuel drums buried. The rounds will store just fine for barter down the road, the bull calf will still go in the freezer in a few months, and the mules will give fine service as therapy instead of transportation.

So, with my Buds here, just gonna sit back and reflect on what could be and not how to cope with drama and travail........God bless these United States.....Dennis

I can guarantee you one thing....we are better armed that them!
We have a little more space as well.
If you're in a blue county you may not be happy but if you're in the red, it's all good.

I am optimistic, but realistic.

It's on for the Republicans. Screw this up and it'll be back to the Liberal side.

As the Zin Master would say "We'll see". (Movie: Charlie's War)

How can Trump "drain the swamp" when it looks like he is bringing in Christie, Giuliani, Gingrich and others on board? Looks more like he is polluting the swamp! Unfortunately I think Trump doesn't know what he is doing. I hope I am wrong, but I think we are in for a decline if he brings in these advisors! Looks like the mistake that Cheney and Bush made with Ashcroft, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld and others. Colin Powell was the only "good" guy and he got burned by Cheney and his advisors. Colin Powell would have been a fine presidential candidate. Too bad for all of us. The DNC and RNC don't have their acts together.

I hope you're wrong as well for the sake of all of us.

Rudy Giuliani & Chris Christie have never served a day in Washington. Gingrich is a serious stand-up guy.

I'll take those people over Hillary and her ilk any day.

I think that Trump will do what Reagan did. Surround himself with brilliant people and work it from there. Is Trump (or Reagan) the smartest? NO. But if they run an administration full of brilliant people, and we, the population, may benefit. Little things like jobs and such.

BTW, at present, is there ANYTHING (just name one thing you can do) that isn't regulated? That's too much IMHO. Even breathing has regulations about the air. The gov'n needs to get off our back.

Well said, Guiliani was a stand up force during 9/11 and afterwards. Gingrich is experienced in dealing with congress and has been a Trump confidant for sometime. Trump probably trusts him to know the way to handle congress.

I'm not the biggest fan of Christie but I'll bet Trump will find a fair number of smart people to assist with his view point.

Beats the heck out of the alternative.

Yes,Kimmi, thank you, it was '63. I was distracted - my nephews birthday going on. I was a little one but remember, sitting on the floor and tv on - Chet Untley (sp) saying "the president is dead".
I won't get into it here but study the" Illuminati " It has deep roots ,very deep... collie

Since it appears we can go on personal rants in this thread, here's mine.

Paul Ryan needs escorted out of town!!!! He was spineless in his dealings with Trump during the election. Displayed absolutely no leadership skills!!!! Then after the election he jumped in front of the cameras to declare his support. The sign attached to the front of the podium was a campaign sign for him, Ryan........... I don't trust him at ALL...... :(
