I got some good seat time today brush hogging my trails. Got some chain saw action to as I had a few trees blocking the trail that I couldn't break up and move with the FEL.

I plan to change oil and grease everything in the next few weeks but figure I'm missing something.
What all do you do for fall tractor maintenance?

If you are going to continue to use your tractor...then your maintenance should be to follow your various hourly services...

Haybine, balers, et cetera...which are being put to bed for the season...they each have an end of season servicing procedure...

The only unusual activity that I perform is that one tractor is truly winterized with arctic rated fluids IF AND ONLY IF we are looking at a COLD WINTER...otherwise I'll do it if and when we encounter the weather...:snow:Thank goodness, for insulated Carhartt jump suits...:D

I do oil & filter
Air filter
Fuel filter
Grease
Blow out radiator
Fluid level check
Anti-freeze check
Unwind the block heater cord
Blow off & out
Wax
Put back blade on for snow
.
Note: When I change the fuel filter, I fill the filter housing with SeaFoam and pour the rest in the tank & top it off with fuel.

The closest thing I do to "fall service" is to check coolant. Everything else goes according to hourly routine. Once the mowing season is over, we pull everything in the shop, one at a time, and do a full on service to start getting ready for NEXT season. :letitsnow:

Clean the thing (pressure wash/or however you choose) re lube after it's dry and maintain as needed!

Fix whatever needs fixing and change to the next seasons implements!

One more thing if your battery is close to be retired(5 years max)/or terminals cleaned do it now because you will wish that you did it when it was warmer!
