I went to my property today to do some snow plowing, and the RTV X1100c fired right up on the first crank after 15 s of glow plug heating. Of course, it was a balmy 34 F, and the Opti-Lube XPD with cetane improvers and gell-reducers had had a chance to make it into the fuel system. I then topped off the fuel tank with about 1.5 gallons of kerosene with the same fuel additive added to it. I bet it will start better at low temps next time. I have been running the engine easy since it is in the break-in period, but the thing seems to just sip the diesel fuel.
The vehicle was also shifting better this time after using some of the suggestions that you folks made.
The Boss V-Plow seems to adjust any way that you want to push the snow as desired.
