Front Light bar wiring

I have a 2025 RTVX with enclosed cab heat and AC. It is pre-wired for a stereo. I bought a generic light kit including center light bar and side lights. It came with a lot of wire switch and relay.

I can not figure out how to get power to the lights elegantly. I do not want wire zip tied willy nilly.

Is there enough current on a wire in the radio bay? There is quite a bit of wire harness with connectors for the sound system.
Or do i need to run the wire above the headliner and then down to the batters under a cover strip that might allow for this. However the last foot of distance to the battery is not neatly covered.

Other possibilities? How does the dealer do it?

Also how do the lights mount to the roof? There are three covers of some sort. How do the wires go through without leaks?

I don't know the answer but if it were me I'd try the radio power wire and go from there. I suspect it would be enough but ya never know till you try for yourself. I've not mounted lights to my roof so no idea on that. Good luck

Unsure your light kit but I would one wire to battery or fuse block for the lights. The relay/switch wire could be from radio area since you are only pulling current to trip relay. Depending on how you want to use light look for 12 v switched or constant your choice.

You might want to consult the 3rd section of the WSM. Looks like it answers most of your questions by just looking at the schematic.

Thanks I did not know that WSM had the complete wiring diagram I had downloaded the manual and was slowly reading it.
My initial thought was to use the radio power wire but it seems to be bundled in a harness and would be difficult to get to without taking the headliner down I am pretty handicapped and have little strength and can not stand up for long. So it might be easier to run a new wire.

Where is the nearest location?

Also, how do you get the switched power to the light without creating a leak And how do you mount the light. What is under the cover plates? I know I can take one off to see but even this is a big effort for me. I have advanced cancer that has reduced my strength to almost nothing.

I think all Rtv x1100c’s have the fillowing prewired:
Front and rear work lights
high mount strobe.
front fog lights

There are several threads on this that i found very helpfull.

behind the switch panel you will find 2 5 position connectors one blue, one white. Then there are 2 wires with splice terminations, these are for the Kubota high mount strobe. This makes it super clean and easy to install the lights plug and play! But it will cost ya$$.

I wouldn’t recomend using the factory radio prewired harness, it can only provide 5 amps.

In addition there is supposed to be another set of wire for fog lights but i cant find that on mine.

I did notice that kubota wrapped in blue tape each of the prewired plugs for Kubota accesories.

one 6 or 8 pin connector under the hood near the radiator

one taped up in the rear above the tranny and then anther connected to the tranny with no blue tape. I dont know what these are for. I would love to know! (my guess is the front one is for a snow plow)

From what I have seen, the complete wiring harness is already installed within the vehicles. The fuses maybe installed, also. You just buy Kubotas gold plated devices and plug them in along with the rocker switch that should come with them. If you look at the schematic, there is already a 20A circuit dedicated for the lighting.
