Fuel Cap Wrench

TWO GUNS

Senior Member
Does the newer fuel caps do better than the older ones. Or should I say, do they leak ?
Are they hard to remove.
If so.... the newer owners might want to know about this.
Use this tool to remove hard to fuel caps. This was posted on the old forum. Just thought
I would give some of the newer owners a tip.....

They carry these everywhere, parts houses' , wal mart >>>>

Sure make getting that cap off so much easier !!!!

..... two guns

Yes Bud, thanks for talkin about this again. I have kept mine under my seat for MANY fuel changes now. My wife thinks it's the best thing going since she is the one that typically puts the fuel in HER vehicle...........God bless......Dennis

I haven't seen any fuel cap leaks. The cap is tight to remove, but not so bad that I need a wrench...yet. I can see how the wrench would be really handy. If my hand strength were some less, I'd certainly need to use such a wrench. I've got several filter wrenches...may put one under the front seat for future use... interesting idea.

.... we keep ours under the seat. There are times before, didn't think I would ever get this cap off. Maybe Kubota finally got it figured out where a person can just fill up without
fighting a bear >>>>>

i'll tell you what i did to my rhino.when i bought it i could hardly take off or get on the fuel cap so i done the same thing i done to my chainsaws. take a file and sand on the threads where you see it rubbing it might take you 30 or 40 minutes to keep screwing it on and taking it off.but just work it a little at a time . screw it in til it stops don't force it then take it off file down that part at the beging of the threads and keep repeating til you can screw the whole cap down. if the cap is a female just use sandpaper folded up.
