Heater not working

I don't have one but is the fan coming on? I have see instances where the vents have come loose from the blower. The fuse could be blown if the fan doesn't come on. bordercollie
 
Hummmm,Maybe a stuck thermostat.... That hot water from the warmed up engine should keep things heated up... but I would call the dealer you just bought it from and ask to talk to a guy in the shop. :) let us know :)
 
Not if it's stuck open.

Was the temp gauge reading lower than normal?

Could be an air lock in the heater core. Unusual but possible.

Look under the dash and follow the heat/cool rotary knob control. Make sure it's turning on the shut off valve.

I'll look in my manual for some info.
 
Book just mentions control knob opens an air vent and opens flow valve. No idea where it is but most likely it's not opening up to allow the hot water to flow through the heater core.

Sounds easy!!! ha ha ha

Manual has lots of stuff on the air conditioning aspect, but next to nothing on the heating system.
 
figured it out radiator was low on water whe i filled it up heater started working fine thanks for all the help
