I am now the proud owner of a RTV 500. I love it! Had the bed sprayed before I even brought it home. Not much chance to try her out, but went for a ride Saturday morning. Got some work to do with it later this week.

Congratulations on your purchase. It will give you many many years of dependable, reliable, and economical service. Enjoy.

Congrats and welcome to our internet RTV & Tractor forums. :tiphat:

Now what addons do you have planned for your new toy ...er I mean work horse. :D

Thanks guys, looking forward to lots of good info.
@Doc - Got it with the winch, windshield and top. Will probably add a plow, gun rack(s) and some storage. I was thrilled to find out that my Rapid Hitch that I use on my truck will work on the RTV! It has two holes in the insert and the one closest to the end works perfectly. So no cutting or drilling of a new insert. Probably put some type of work light out back. Then we'll see what else might come in handy.

Sounds good. So, what is a Rapid Hitch ....sounds like something I might need.

This is a Rapid Hitch. It is solid aluminum and adjusts for different height trailers and you can change ball sizes by turning the holder upside down. I have two different trailers with different ball sizes and different heights. I need only one hitch. Not cheap, but effective and they have different sizes plus a locking pin set that is nice.

I turn it upside down for the RTV. The smaller one would be better, but this works.
