I've had it with my tractor, ............

No chains - No problem!

When I bought my Polaris Sportsman in 2001, I sprung for the $70 chains. Used them once and never put them on again. I can't imagine how deep the snow has to be before the 4 wheeler can't handle it with bare feet. That being said, I much prefer the heater and power steering in my 2010 UTV1100! The Polaris sits in the garage now. I'm getting to be a sissy in my old age. ( Or is that smarter? )

I am in the same situation. I started out with a couple of ATV's and they both are sitting. Once in a while the grandkids ride them, but mostly we all jump into the 'Bota 900, more comfortable and in the fall and winter, alot warmer. For hunting, the 'Bota beats the ATV's hands down. I'm about to sell the ATV's.

I too had a bunch of ATVs that sat after getting the RTV. I sold most but kept them for the kids and a 250 Suzuki for myself. There's time where it's better suited than the RTV for chores. Lawn rolling, leaf bagging... It's also my preferred machine when I need to drive through the lawn but the ground is soaked. The RTV sinks in too much.

Now know how deep the snow needs to be to stick the 1100

Found out how deep is too deep.............. 3 feet! Lot harder to unstick than the Polaris 4 wheeler. Neighbor came over with his truck. Will be a little more cautious next big storm. Live and learn, I guess.:pat:

Pictures?

Sorry, no got! My fault really, i pushed into a pile down hill and got kicked sideways into another pile behind me. Won't make that mistake again.:sorry:
