Kubota backhoe leaks

Hi-- Have a Kubota with a 4540 backhoe. One of the swing cylinders is leaking.
Can someone tell me how to dis-assemble the cylinder?

Thank you.

Welcome to Net Tractor Talk George. I'm glad you found us.
Sorry to hear about your leak.
Where is it leaking at?

Hi- the cylinder is leaking from the end where it connects to the backhoe. The retaining ring is held snug with an allen set screw, it had loosened up and moved out a little, I reset it, tightened the allen set screw. Still leaks.

I'm not a hydraulic expert or nothing, but I'd suspect a gasket in the cylinder. I wonder if that is something you can replace or if you have to replace the whole cylinder to stop the leak?
Come on guys, any other guesses at this one?

Any chance of a picture?

I suspect a seal too, rams are pretty rebuild-able so you shouldn't have to replace the ram.
